Always wanted to try knitting but don't know where to start?
Our relaxed Introduction to Knitting workshop is designed for complete beginners, especially if you have never picked up knitting needles or have had a long gap since you last knitted.
You will learn about yarn weights and choosing the right needles for your yarn and project, casting on, using the knit and purl stitches to shape your square and casting off. We’ll also cover basic knitting terminology and additional tips & techniques for your knitting.
You’ll have plenty of time to practise, ask questions and get individual help from an experienced tutor. We’ll then use your new skills to create a simple cotton square make-up remover pad for you to take home.

Level of Experience: No previous experience necessary. Absolute beginners are very welcome.
